The Cirque Experience

Remember: This is my frist Cirque Du Soleil Show
I finally saw the Cirque Du Soleil: Delerium show and it was quite fascinating. The first 20 minutes of the show were a downer though and should not be considered as a basis for judging the main event . The show began with a singer (whose name i cannot remember) and she sang a couple of self composed songs (5...i think), which were kind of arabian nightish mingled with jungle/witchdoctor music. Needless to say once that was over, it was smooth sailing. The show featured, acrobats, dancers, a stiltwalker, and guy floating from a ball suspended from the ceiling, a hoopla girl and some other feature attractions, to a background of music. Most of the time, there was a band on stage and singers (these guys were much better than the opening act). The visual effects of the show were simply stunning and mesmerizing. The graphics, music and the acts combined give you a dreamlike, surreal feeling. All in all, a nice evening out and i definitely recommend the show.

Some Thoughts...

So i was surfing though some invesmtent and finace sites and came across this site www.zecco.com and decided to check it out. What i found...is that is offers free stock trading at zero commissions...and although the site doesn't officialy launch for another week or so...i think its a brilliant concept. I was however, sorry to find out that the service is not available to Canadians. So I guess...i have to continue paying commisions for a while longer.
I also opened up a real money account at FullTiltpoker.com and played in a couple of real money games...where i won $10 in my first game ...then lost it all...and as of now...am down..$3 from my initial deposit, which is not that bad. I have now decided to pick and choose my real money games more carefully....that is..not be rash and choose high limits ....and i have also decided to not play in more than 1 game a day. I am counting on these self imposed rules to keep me from losing too much money.
Also, next week i am going to watch this Cirque du Soleil show call Delirium and it is supposed to be a 'live musical concert that pushes the limits of arena performance.'i shall review the performance next week........so stay tuned
